Hello everyone,
I would be interested to know if anyone here has ever trained under Steven Segal, or attended any of his classes, and if so, what was the atmosphere?

The atmosphere in any Segal class or seminar I've ever attended was the same as any other Aikido seminar.

From what I've read, he does not have his Movie Persona teach Aikido. Some students seem to enjoy his seminar (http://www.northeastaikikai.com/mellosegal.html).

He also started a dojo (http://members.aol.com/lucasj1210/seagal2.htm) in 1982.

His Tibetan teacher believes Segal to be a reincarnation (tulku) of a Tibetan Buddist Master. You can read his teacher's statement (http://palyul.org/statement.html) online.
