Thank you Marcus and Matthew!.
Now i am really intrested!.
I quote från the first page of the site that i got från Matthew:
"Anecdote has it that Onisaburo ( Who by the way created The age of Maitreya) turned his naked bottom on the Moon because he felt sorry for his anus and wanted to show it something beautiful!" end of quote.
And I think : How did that make the Moon feel???.
But ,anyway: I have to read more about this, thanks again!.

Maybe he ate a lot of natto or kimchi and wanted to make amends.

How many current Aikido Senseis would know how to integrate religious or spiritual elements into their dojos without making an incredible mess of things? Probably very few. It would be funny to watch from a distance though.

My sensei has been integrating spiritual elements into his dojo as long as he's been teaching, over 35 years. His has for over forty.

I am of a firm belief that spirituality is obviously a key to the study of Aikido. Religion is not however. Some key aspects of some religions may be drawn upon to help us in relaxing the mind and spirit for more effective training , however, each individual has his or her own way. That is part of what makes Aikido what it is and I believe was meant to be. Spirituality and technique are unique to the individual.

Onisaburo turned his naked bottom on the Moon because he felt sorry for his anus and wanted to show it something beautiful! lol... True or otherwise that's the funniest thing I've read in a looong time and has lifted my spirits beyond reproach !
