Hello everyone
I have recently started training, having once lived with someone who was an aikidoka. She had a video of Saito Sensei, filmed during a demonstration screened on Scottish television. I am desperate to find this footage, because I have not seen the techniques shown anywhere else. One technique appeared to involve Saito Sensei gripping the hands of about eight assailants and driving all of them to the ground simultaneously. In another, he appeared to throw his assailant, who attacked from the right quarter, spinning him round the back of his body, and sending him flying through the air from his left quarter. The most remarkable feature of this technique was that Saito Sensei did not appear to take hold of his opponent, or even to raise his hands from his sides. I am aware that lack of knowledge and not a little instant hero worship might have clouded my judgement, but this is my memory of it.
Whether or not I'm describing accurately what I saw, I am sure the footage was taken during a demonstration for Scottish television.
Does anyone know about this?

I've never heard of this but I'll ask around and post back if successful.
