Hi guys, im just wondering with the current situation in Japanese politics (tension wif Korean n China), wots the current state of japanese martial arts in those countries?
Are there anyone living in those countries that may have experienced racial tensions in the dojo or perhaps experience a boycott of the art, etc ?

That doesn't seem to be the case here in Korea. The Korea Aikido Federation is going strong and has introduced Aikido to areas in Korea in the past year that never had heard of Aikido before. It seems the Korean people are mature enough differentiate.

Hmm thats great. I've always wondered abt the state of japanese martial arts in these politcal times. Im particularly amazed by how they've evolved in Singapore in the 50s n 60s, right after the WW2 and the japanese occupation. Seems that there was none or little boycott of the arts.
