Cold Steel Bokken (http://www.coldsteel.com/92bk.html)

Something about this bokken makes me wince, but also make me go "Hmmmmmmm...."......

I have bought Cold Steel stuff before and everything has been high quality.... I guess it would be cool to keep in the vehicle since it would not warp...

Man, all these views and no debate about a polypropylene boken?

I showed it to a friend who is a plastics researcher for Dow Chemical and he said the same polypropylene material had been tried a few years ago to replace wood hockey sticks. It was not a success because the players complained that the material felt cold compared to wood while at the same time any sweat would make it very slippery to hold.

I suppose as a plastic wacking weapon for home intruders it might be useful as they suggest.

Yep, my wife's first question was about it sweating in your hands...
