Hi all
I practice Korindo Aikido in Israel for approx. 15 years, did some TKD for a while (2-3 years) in parallel.
I hope you will accept me even though my opinions on Aikido and it's concepts are quite different to many I have read here. This should be expected as Korindo Aikido is a separate M.A. and could relate to Ueshiba's Aikido as an older step-brother at best.

Hi Amir,
Welcome to AikiWeb! I think, for the most part, you'll find folks here open minded about Korindo Aikido.
Best regards,
Hi Amir,
Thank you for your introduction and welcome!

Hi Amir, and Welcome!!!!!!!!!! I have only just begun my journey with Aikido but as such, I'm happy to hear any "opinions that are quite different." It's all an opportunity to learn, and share about a great wonderful thing. I used to practice TKD as well, for 3 1/2 years or so. I enjoyed it, but had to create a kind of my own space there. But I DID enjoy it immensely, and when I has to stop to due a bad back, it was tough. It's been almost seven years since I've practices TKD and only recently have I been able to watch others do it. I realize that most have have far tougher reasons to particiate in things, and a great many more who don't get to participate at all. But I still miss it. Aikido suits me, and I love it, but man....
Oh, hey I saw that you are in Tel Aviv. A very very dear friend of mine has recently made to the move from the US to Isreal, and I couldn't be happier for her.i'm always thrilled when people follow their dreams, and hers was powerful. Awesome "Ki", if you will. She's a great, great, wonderful soul, and one of my favorite people.
