:ai: :ki: :do: :pMy name is Peter(19) and I'm use to study Aikido in Iwama style for several of months by sensei Wolfgang Baungartner(6.Dan).In march i will make an exam for the 5.kyu!
I just wanted to say hi.And i wanted to ask u for some tips
or story's and so long. And if somebody from u will be in Berlin
and u want to visit us or join training ur always welcome!!!
Because like Saito(?) sensei said:Aikido waka soko des!
AIKIDO IS FAMILY and hes right because aikido is not about the styles or the kyus or dans its about the family and about respecting each other and be friendly to each other !!

a friendly greeting to all
Peter

Hi Greg!
First thnx for your message!
And I'm very happy that people are thinking good about our sensei
because he is a fantastic teacher but also a very good friend.
Maybe he is a bit strict but its just only good because he is always
showing our problems by the technique and so we can make them better and more
effective. But he is also a man whit big heart and a never-ending since for humor.
He is also like a big book with many story's about his live as uchi-deshi
and about Hitohiro Saito sensei!!
The only problem is that in February he is flying back to USA to open there a
new dojo and to live there! And we are a bit hitted because of that! But
our new sensei Karsten is also a great teacher with a very good character
and a big heart! So we loose a great teacher but we also get a new great teacher as
sensei !!
I was also on your web site and i like it very much If its possible can u please
tell me more about you, your dojo and about Ur style u are Training?
THNX

see ya soon(maybe also on the tatami)
and take care
Peter

Peter,
It's a bummer that you're losing Baumgartner Sensei but good that you're getting an excellent instructor in his place.

I'll drop you a PM about our dojo. No sense going off-topic in this thread.

If you travel here to the Memorial Day Gasshuku, you'll get a chance to train with me.

Best,
