Hi all, I thought I introduce myself.

I am 22 years of age and a newbie to both aikido (about four months now) and to Aikiweb (this is my first post here). I started going to aikido because a friend talked me in to it. I had to thank him because I love it. I used to practise judo but the club closed and I was at a loose end before I started training again.
I am studying for a physics phd and generally doing far too many things.

Hi Amanda! It sounds like we're in the same boat - I just signed onto aikiweb and I've been training about four months as well. I bet your aikido will help with that phd work, too! Best wishes...

Thanks everyone. I train with the Exeter Aikido club, they meet in St. Thomas but several people from the uni go there
