Hi
One of our students is on the lookout for 210 or bigger Gi.
Preferably from within the UK.
Any of you know anywhere he can look?
Has tried all the standard sites but they don't go beyond 200.
Cheers

You could try J.Milom in Manchester.
They don't have a web presence, they're a rather old fashioned business.
(Anyone who's visited their factory will know what I mean.) So theres really no point in looking for them online.
Unlike most UK gi suppliers, they make the stuff themselves, right there on the premises, so if they don't carry the size you want, gi can be made to measure for very little extra cost. (It also means you can buy trousers and jackets seperately, which I find handy because I wear out at least 3-4 pairs of trousers for every jacket that bites the dust.)
They're based at:
Springfield Mills, Sherborne Street, Manchester, M3 1ND
And their phone number is: 0161 8326155

Hi Darren!
The only online retailers that I've found based in the UK that do Gis that big are Paragon Martial arts:
Their Ju jitsu suits (http://www.paragonmartialarts.co.uk/acatalog/martial_arts_Ju_Jitsu.html) are £48 at 210cms
They are based in Tadley although I'd check out Sean's suggestion first, your student might get a better deal especially if he's buying more than one Gi.

I would highly recomment Milom also,
my first Gi from them lasted me around 6 years.
and from what i remember they have alifetime garuntee on them, so you can send them back and they will restich and repair them... or at least they used to

Thanks.
And howdy to Mark! What are you doing surfing? same as me eh? ;)
Yep...I also started with a milom suit and have another to this day. Very hard wearing.
I'll suggest this to my large student - He has mentioned that the only suit he can find so far is a ju jitsu suit - could be paragon.
I think its the lack of a website thats putting him off milom...he's big but shy I guess! :)
I'll pass the phone number on anyway.
Cheers...keep the suggestions coming!

J. Milom does have a website (www.milom.co.uk I think; you can probably find them through a search engine otherwise) - I've had gis from them and remembered looking up their contact details on the Web. I don't think you can order online though, unless they've changed that in the last year or so. I use their jiujitsu gis and they are very good indeed - comfortable & last well.

I found this thread, because I started a similar one here (http://www.aikiweb.com/forums/showthread.php?p=208550).
I just thought that if anyone finds this old thread, they should know that unfortunately MILOM ceased trading this year.
