Hey all,
Is there anyone who might be able to accurately translate a short passage of English text into Japanese?
The translation would need to be in written form and preferably saved as some form of image file such as a .gif .pnc .bmp etc so that it can be embedded into a word document which already contains other content
If anyone wants to help, please email me and I'll send the text that I need translating. dave@aikido-database.co.uk
Kind regards

The best place online where it can be done is http://www.babelfish.altavista.com .
This is a computer program, so the translation will be ridiculously far from real language, but it usually is accurate enough to convey the basic meaning of what you're trying to say.

Thanks fella,
I'm aware of the online translators and thats why I've posted here for help. The translation I require needs to be both accurate and in context, otherwise I'll make myself look rather foolish.
Thanks anyhow for your post :)

I can certainly give it a try. I'm also surrounded by Japanese students, so I can run it by them to make sure it doesn't sound ridiculous.
You can post it here if you want, or you can send it to the email in my profile. I'm not really sure how to get it in an image file, though. I guess I could write it in a word processor here and take a screenshot.

Dave,
you can also sling it my way. Depending on what it is you want translated, I can have a go and dp it in an image file similar to the last one.
