Magnet training for ki?

Alright, a while back i was thumbing through an issue of black belt magazine in a Barnes and noble to see what it was all about. I was pretty disappointed. Most of the advertisements were pretty typical of any magazine, but a few of them made my BS detector go off.

One of the things that kept coming up was "Ki training with magnets."

They all claim to work, but they never write anything about what the actual theory is behind the training and how it's supposed to work. Can anyone shed some light on this scam(?)
