I have heard about this site for a long time now and have even looked at it before. Today I finally took the time to register.

I've been training in Yoseikan for about ten years and am one of two teachers at our dojo in East Texas.

Welcome to AikiWeb, Robert.

I've run across a couple of the Yoseikan AikiBudo folks from Univ of Alabama. I keep angling to get together to train but it never seems to click.

Best regards,

akiy

I just got back Sunday night from our yearly Yoseicamp that was held, this year, in Huntsville. Two of the instructors from the U or A dojo were there. I even went to the Dreamland in Huntsville, but, it is NOT the same as the one in Tusc.!

Keep trying to talk with Jimmy and/or Omar over at U of A and maybe you can work something out.

You are more than welcome to work out at our dojo. The only problem is that it will be a bit of a drive for you. We workout in Nacogdoches. There is a guy that teaches in Palestine that I hear is pretty good. Those are the only two aikido schools I know of. There is another group here in town that I think some of the senior instructors teach aikido as well (but then you're back to driving to Nac).

Good Luck finding a dojo!
