Good Day To All,

My name is Jim Saba and I have just logged in to the site and wanted to just say hi. I am affiliated with Enmei Dojo in Titusville Fl. and I thought that I might just post my credentials for any to read.

If you are ever in Deland Fl , please come by and say hi. Our class schedule is as follows: W, F 830 950 Sun 2 4
Address: 642 W New York St Deland Fl 32720 Phone 386 736 7957

Jim Saba (B. S. , M. S. ) began studying Aikido in 1989 at Sand Drift Aikikai with Tom Walker (DDS) and Alan Drysdale ( Phd ) While there, he received subsequent promotions through the United States Aikido Federation with Y Yamada. In December of 2000 he received his Shodan through SDMAA ,(Sand Drift Martial Arts Association), an independent organization formed around the early to mid 90's by Tom Walker.

Around March of 2002 , he became a member of ASU (Aikido Schools of Ueshiba) with Saotome , but recently, with the help of Enmei Dojo, left to pursue working toward starting his own school .

In addition to promoting the study of Aikido , he has been teaching Mathematics at the college level for about a year.

Because of his unique background and experiences, he has had the opportunity to study Aikido techniques from both a classical and non-classical prospective. In addition to understanding the technical aspects of Aikido , he has also sat in on lectures which stress the use of Aikido principles beyond the technical realm.
