I am a serious BJJ person, but I often like to mingle with aikido folks because I really like the principles and teachings of O' Sensei and I try to apply them to my jiu-jitsu practice.
I also am very fond of Jigoro Kano Sensei, and many of the principles of Judo (which are almost identical to BJJ).
I also study Yoga and Buddhism---But like to Surf, Skate, Snowboard, Mtn.Bike, rock climb and party...so I am fairly main stream as well.
Anyway I would like to pose any questions I have to you guys..as well as put myself available for questioning regarding BJJ.
Glad to be here.
Matt.

Hello Matt; good to meet you. :)
Welcome to the Aikiweb!
Hi Matt,
Welcome to the AikiWeb Forums and thank you for your introduction! Yes, Kano sensei had some really great principles laid out in judo, many of which I "borrow" at times in aikido...
