I don't actually study Aikido; I study Hapkido, a Korean version. I am interested in learning more about Aikido (and I can't find and dedicated Hapkido forums) do I thought I'd see how warm (or possibly not-so-warm) of a welcome I will receive here. I am not familiar with many of the Japanese terms I see used here; so if my presence is tolerated, I ask for some patience when I ask stupid questions of the nature "what does that mean?" Of course I will be more than willing to answer any questions about Hapkido to the best of my knowledge. I look forward to interesting discourse with all of you. :)

Hi Keith,
You can find a lot of information on aikido language here on this website in the language (http://www.aikiweb.com/language) section. I hope you'll feel welcome in asking your questions here!

Hi Keith,
Welcome to AikiWeb. I think you'll find most here to be pretty open minded.
