Hello everyone, I set up a poll on my dojo website to try to find out what is most important for people in joining a dojo, and what if anything they might do to help support the dojo.
It is geared for my current or prospective students, and doesn't represent everything by any stretch, but if you have some questions you think I should add, please let me know.
please visit the poll at: http://www.raisinriveraikikai.com/poll.htm
and let me know what you think. Anything and everything would be appreciated (this goes for questions that I should ask as well)!
best, Rachel

The dojo I've attended recently charge $85/month so I'd add some numbers there.
"willing to do to help" I'd add organize schedules/volunteers for keeping the dojo clean, arranging hotels during seminars, sundry.
That's all off the top of my head. Good luck.

Thanks Don!
I'll add the dollar figure, and give the chores thing some thought. The reason for the poll was to give my students the chance to vote anonymously what was most important, and we are in the middle of trying to figure out what we can and cannot do in terms of demos, kid's classes, advertising (the foot type) and the like. After they've all chimed in, then I'll remove some of that stuff about what are you willing to do.
Thanks for the help, and I will raise the dollar figures!
Rachel
