I have recently begun practicing again after a 5 year hiatus. I am not sure how long I trained before, but I doubt it was longer than a year (though I originally thought it was closer to 18 months). I now find myself more lost than ever. What is the quickest way to bring myself up to speed? I realize that techniques take decades to master but holds like kotagaish, sankyo, etc. there must be a link somewhere to a holds for dummies of something along that lines, no?
Hi Rich,.. welcome back to the mat. Congratulations!,.. the only way,.. train,., train,.. relax,... and,.. train!

Thank you for the welcome!
I hear you, I just dislike the lost feeling or the, "no like this", as the rest of the class watches...that's never fun

:) Learn to invest in loss. It does get easier over time.
