~~Hi All! I'm fortunate in that I live in an area where there are many MA to choose from. Just recently I spent a couple of months cross-taining in a Shaolin wu-shu school. Loved the circular atemi and animal forms! Every so often I check out other Aikido schools or martial arts just for fun, research, keep myself honest, ect. Anyone else pursue this sort of 'spot training'?
ps I keep training in my Aikido dojo 3 to 4 times a week, as well, not dropping the one for the other. Just keeping things lively :)

i took up ITF taekwondo and a bit of judo during my first year of aikido training, but currently i'm dropping off both to concentrate on aikido. however, i'd like to try bjj, taichi and bajiquan kungfu as well as kenjutsu/iaido if there's time and place.

One of my instructors mixes in some judo and jujitsu into his classes and another often throws in some tai chi principles, gives us a slightly broader perspective I think. I also want to do some Iaido to improve my sword work but i never got around to joining the BKA :p
