Does anyone know if this ongoing row between Mr. Ellis and Mr. Poole has reached any kind of sensible resolution? I find the whole matter very unsatisfactory due to the lack of clear responses from Mr. Poole.

Having known both people for over twenty years I find it sad that they cannot agree to differ and continue practising Aikido.
The arguement is; as I see it; incapable of resolution due to stubborness on both sides.

I don't know either of these fellows, but I really find it distasteful for Mr. Ellis to send email invitations to those around the budo world that he doesn't know trying to enlist outside support of his position.

Hi Anonymous,
I doubt this forum is going to be a source of satisfacton for you in this situation. In my experience, all you will get is a very one sided debate, largely based on hearsay and misinformation.
By the way, I'm a student of Sensei Jack Poole so if this is important to you, I'd be happy to discuss offline.
Cheers,
Justin

Here's a question, what is the history? I tried looking and I didn't see anything.
