When taking Aikido photos (still or motion), should the photographer avoid seeing the Kamiza in the frame?
Thanks,
Jessica

Yes, because if he doesn't, a little girl with long hair covering her face will crawl out of his television and dismember him.

Hi Jessica,
Why do you ask?
Charles
I noticed in Ikeda Sensei's videos that the kamiza is visible from time to time. If it is "wrong," I think a shihan would know not to do it . . .

When I was in Japan, people often moved infront of the Kamiza for their photo`s to be taken. Nobody ever indicated that this was a problem. ala Charles, why do you ask?

Thanks, I was wondering, because I am thinking about making a documentary based in Aikido.
Thanks again,
Jessica

Jessica,
I assumed they were asking where you acquired the notion that the kamiza shouldn't be shown.

OK, in that case, I noticed on a recording of someone highranked (I forgot who) the Kamiza appeared to be covered.

THAT is the funniest thing I have ever read on this forum! I won't be able to train tonight because my sides hurt too much!:D

signs wasnt scary to me. the only thing that even made me jump alittle bit was when the alien stuck his hand out from under the door. now the ring on the other hand, i'm still messed up from that one. great movie.
