Hi!

What would you people say the avarage age of all active Aikidokas is? I'm pretty sure it's a bit higher then most other martial arts. Or maybe that's just a local thing. Anyone?

Regards,

Patrik

Our Dojo has a fantastic range of ages, from 6 - 60/70's, I'd guess :)

Our avarage age is probably around 25. But we do have some old geezers that are around 60. :)

Ouch!!!! I'm 56, been training for 27 years and I hardly consider myself an old geezer. The average age of students in our dojo is in the late 30's to early 40's; but the range is between 6 and 60+.

Hi mr Ragusa!

No offence intended. I did but a smiley after I wrote geezer. My sensei is in his late 50's and his sensei is well over 70. None of dem are considered geezers.

With respect,

Patrik

Patrik -

None taken, the "Ouch!!!!..." was all tongue-in-cheek.
