I am Toru Hanamura.
I enjoy Aikido with Peter-san and a lot of my friends in Himeji Shodokan.

I also play Judo with Peter-san. We are learning together.

僕は花村徹です。
昭道館の姫路支部で、ピータさんやその他の人たちと合気道を楽しんでいます。

また、ピータさんとは柔道もやっていて、お互いに技術のレベルアップを図っています。

Jorgen-san

Thank you for your e-mail.

I started Aikido only 2 months ago.My Aikido teacher is Peter-san. I work with him at same work place. His enthusiasm was contagious.

Sometimes at work we sneak out for some practice.

I play Aikido every Tuesday and every weekend.Aikido members are nice people, it's very fun to exercise together. After practice we go to lunch.

Why did you choose Aikido from a lot of sports?

How long have you played Aikido?

Hi Hanamaru san,

Welcome to the AikiWeb Forums and thanks for your introduction!

If you feel it's easier to write/communicate in Japanese, you can always use the Japanese Forum (http://www.aikiweb.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=63) here.

Hi Jun;

I was wondering what he was up to - sweating over the dictionary after work. I expect that post took the better part of an hour.

Toru-san is easy to underestimate. Shy, quiet but damm is he hard to deal with on a Judo mat.

You are right - he should try the Japanese forum although I suspect one of the attractions of Aikido is the english exposure. His background from school includes both Kendo and Judo.

Peter R.
