View Full Version : I was a naive fool
Seldom have we heard this side.
We just sat, listening, our mouths open wide. Jake, one of the others, just kept saying, "Oh my God" as the driver described the horrors of the regime. Jake was so shocked at how naive he had been. We all were. It hadn't occurred to anyone that the Iraqis might actually be pro-war.

Uh, right. We NEVER hear the side of the "delusional human shields."
Try reading some of Michelle Malkin's vituperous diatribes on the subject sometime, Eric. She'll give you all the yellow-journalism you can stomach, regarding human shields.
The mainstream media paints them as 1) dupes for Hussein; 2)traitors; amd (my absolute favorite of anti-logic) 3) cowards.
One story of human shields (there are many, of course: as many as the shields themselves), is from Kathy Kelley, from Voices in the Wilderness:

If you believe that you're going to hear anything except negative slants on the Shields (or any element of the anti-war movement) Eric, well: all I can say is respectfully...someone needs to find out what time it is.
