I've been doing a search for good Aikido instruction on video, and would prefer DVD as VHS tapes tend to get eaten after too long.

I think there is a 6 disk series by "Ota" I believe? Anyone familiar with these and/or would recommend them?

Also, any other DVDs no mentioned on this website or kind of hard to find place that are worth looking into?

Thanks !!

Greetings John,

You'll find a selection of Aikido dvds at www.budovideos.com. Please click here (http://www.budovideos.com/dvd.html) to access the DVD section.

The Ken Ota dvds are ok. He teaches Ki Aikido in the Santa Barbara, CA area.

As for format, DVD is excellent for technical videos as it allows for crystal clear step by step playback. Chapter stops also allow you to find a particular section quickly.

Best,

Jake McKee
