I cannot, for the life of me, find a decent pair of sais. Most of the sais that I have found on the web are chrome and are only for show. I am trying to find raw metal or stainless-steel sais without the chrome finish, but to no avail. I need some suggestions on where to look. I am training with them and a few other weapons, but the sais seem to be the hardest to find, at least a decent pair. If anyone can help me, please give me suggestions and links and any information on what I should look for. Thank you.

Shureido are the best ones I've come across.

They are solid, balanced and come in an un-chromed version. They still need a bit of grinding to make them really good though.

The kobudo instructor I know uses some nice ones. I've emailed him to ask for the contact info for the company he gets them from. I'll post it when I get it.

Received a reply re: good quality sai. He uses and also reccomends shureido to his students.
