I'm 25 years old and completely new to Aikido and have only been training for about a week now and I must say that I'm really enjoying it. I also want to thank everyone on the boards cause you have all aided in my research and decision on taking up Aikido...that along with everything I've read and seen and the classes which I've visted.

What most drew me to Aikido is the whole emphasis on non-violence....I've read some peoples anecdotes and found amusing that most times when they found themselves in confrontation they utilized verbal Aikido and the confrontation was no more...I was also drawn by the whole spiritual aspect which Aikido has....in a martial art Aikido had everything which I wanted...

That's all I have to say for now so...see ya on the boards...
