~~Hi all!
I just made a statement on another thread that one thing I really liked about this website was that it seemed open to all martial artists, not just Aikidoka. Then I thought...Oooo, perhaps I've misunderstood. Are you all Aikidoka? I study Aikido right now but am a mixed-bag martial artist of many years. Anyone else? Egg on my face
:D

I'm an Aikidoka, sort of...

I guess I consider myself more of an aspiring Aikidoka :D

FWIW, Aikido is my first martial art.

I'm only into Aikido now. I used to do Judo and Taekwon-do. I'm interested in all martial arts however.

Aikido primarily. MMA secondarily. Looking to find FMA someplace. Oh, and then kendo. And also....

(well, you can what all my money goes on ;-P

It use to be that I was totally polarized against some arts (judo etc). The more I trained, the more I got to like 'em all.

I've done bits n bobs but primarily aikidoka. Yep, I think we're mostly aikidoka (except for the ones that write and say they can kick our arses).

Hehehe...that's almost a Japanese pun, "Aikido ka?" ;)

Done this and that (respectively karate and kendo) but primarily (exclusively actually) aikido ka now. I think a large percentage of the people on this forum have dabbled in other MA's but have a main focus upon Aikido - hence the name of the forum ;)

I currently study Aikido (8 years), primarily FMA (Kali/Escrima for 16 years), been in martial arts stimce 17 (35 years).

I think some people come to Aikido directly and others of us have to evolve towards it.

IMHO, you will find mostly Aikidokas here by definition of the forum, but a lot of us have been around for a while.

Until again,

Lynn
