Hello everyone,
I just wanted to introduce myself to all of you. My name is Dave, I'm 31 and I'm new to Aikido. I have trained in Karate for almost 3 years. I've bounced around from area to area with my job, and now I'm finally stable enough to start training again. I may pop up for questions from time to time, so please bear with me. Thanks Again. ~Dave~

Hi Dave,
Welcome to Aikido and Aikiweb.
I'm in Montgomery. We've been here 10 years or so.
I didn't know there was a dojo in Childersburg. Please tell us about your dojo and your instructor.
Please drop in if you're ever headed South.
Best Regards,
Hi Dave,
Welcome to the AikiWeb Forums! Thanks for your introduction.

Where to begin. The Dojo is called Kokkishinkan Dojo, and my instructor is Sensei Brett Miller. He trains and is an instructor at Retsushinkan Dojo, under Sensei Bushnell. The Dojo just opened at the end of January, my son and myself were at the very first class! It has been an Honor and a Privilege to train with Sensei Miller. Thank you for your invitation. If I am ever in the area I will come by. Thanks Again ~Dave~

Hi Dave,
It's good to hear that Bushnell Sensei's group is expanding up that way. They are all good folks.
Dean Hunkapiller who trains up there comes down and trains with us every so often. He's really coming along fast.
Best Regards,

Dave,
Welcome from Birmingham. If you are ever around UAB feel free to drop in on class.
If you get near Montgomery, I can personally vouch for Greg and Myers Sensei's group. They are a great group.

Hi Bryan,
Thanks for the plug. I appreciate it.
Dave, Bryan and the rest of the dojo at Aikido of B-ham are great folks.
It's been awhile since I trained there, but I meet up with Bryan at seminars several times a year. We always have fun training together.
Best Regards,
Is there any Aikido training in Mobile or P'cola?
