I've been searching for a f.a.q. on iaito/iaido with pics,especially regarding how to tie up the lace (?) on the saya.
I've just ordered my first iaito from Tozando
(KA-25) and I'm all fired up.
If you know some good places to go -

www.japanese-swords.com has information and diagrams on how to tie a sageo and also try entering "tying a sageo" into google's search engine it brings up some sites that have diagrams and step by step instructions on tying a sageo. When i first got my katana it took me ages to tie one properly cos it's quite complicated but you get the hang of it with a bit of practice!!!
