Hi. I'm lucky in that I train with the Yama Arashi in the UK. Our home Dojo was the scene for our regular Kyu gradings this weekend. There were 46 Kyu grades taken, with around 30 Dan grades on the panel. We regularly hold seminars with visiting Instructors ( Donovan Waite and Terry Ezra were the last two) where we have to limit the attendance to 60. These seminars could be easily double subscribed, just with our own members. However, I believe that we are the exception in the UK.
Have fun.

That was kind of a difficult question for me. There are many Ronin Bushido Aikido clubs around the state I live in (possibly more in the US) and we have over 200 students. At the dojo I'm in and in the others as well, we designate days and times for different rankings, but there is a lot of integration with belt rankings at our school so attendance varies. I'm a white belt (soon to be yellow I hope) and I can practice with the yellow, blue and green belts if I want to get some extra practice. In our individual class times there's about 10-15 people.

How many people train at your aikido dojo?Do you mean how many registered members are there total or do you mean how many people, on average, attend the primary class? It seems to me like a ratio of three or four to one is common here. I believe my current dojo has about 30 members and we normally get between 6 and 14 people on a given night.
Do you mean how many registered members are there total or do you mean how many people, on average, attend the primary class?
The former.
