Hey guys, good idea or bad idea? need some feedback really, spesh if anybody has tried it. a friend wants to do Kung fu and he's not interested in aikido much (he likes to bash heads i guess) but i've always liked kung fu yet i love aikido so i'm planning to go along to the classes as they do not clash with my aikido training sessions.
yikes if i do it'll be Wing chun on monday aikido thursday wing chun friday and aikido again on saturday add going to the gym maybe on wednesday then pile on a wife and newborn (BOOYAH!)
now thats what i call extreme living!
hehehe

IMHO, cross training is great. Just kep them separate and let them mix themsleves as you get more proficient in each.
WC has great hands. I love the traps and the straight blast. Wooden dummies are a great workout. Chi Sau is great blending. Enjoy.
Until again,
Lynn

Chin Na is a kung fu grappling system that has some similar applications to Aikido. Great stuff!
