Hey guys,
I live and train in Richmond, VA. This coming summer, me and the wife might be going out to LA for an intership (Wife in law school), and I was wondering if we had any LA aikidoka on the system that i could hook up with and get recommendations on a training site for the summer months.

Any opinions, and comments PLEASE..

Where about in L.A.? Its a big city with lots of Aikido.

I train just south at Tenshinkai Aikido under Phong Sensei in Westminster, Orange County, CA.

Until again,

Lynn

I think that the Area of LA that we will be in this summer is around the "little Tokyo" area.

I have pulled up information of the LA Aikikai affilitated schools, and am very interested in them. I actually wanted to get a few schools in mind to visit and choose the one that my gutt goes crazy for...so to speak..

thanks for the replies...hook a brotha up LA..

If your looking to experience something a little diffferent, check out ACE Aikido. Very heavily ki influenced and Dr. Novick's Aikido still blows me away. http://home.earthlink.net/~aiki1/main.html

Larry Novick is excellent. I visited and was impressed. Very soft, yet very effective. Worth the visit. I'd second this one.

Until again,

If you are interested in a very dynamic Aikido experience, I would recommend that you check out any of Haruo Matsuoka Sensei's Classes.
