Dogen's writings involve quite lengthy discussions regarding time and being. He states that "time is being" several times and uses the expression "for the time being" a lot. Does anybody here have access to Dogen in Japanese? Could anybody illuminate the Japanese expressions (e.g. "uji") used in "time is being" and "for the time being" in Dogen's writings??

Interesting parallel thinking from Heidegger, but did he mean the same??

I suppose this is a little bit eccentric in terms of aikido, but it refers back to my reflections on aikido and time - essentially inspired by both aikido training, modern physics, and O-Sensei's words "time does not exist in aikido".

Best wishes
