Sounds terrific..... I'm not a Daito Ryu student but the stuff I've encountered with Howard Popkin was hugely useful to my Aikido.

We'd like to offer our most heartfelt congratulations to Roy Goldberg Sensei, who has just received the third scroll in the Daito-ryu Aikijujutsu Kodokai tradition - "Hiden Ogi" (Secret Transmission of Hidden Mysteries").

This marks him as one of few in the Daito-ryu school to have received this honor and the only non-Japanese Westerner to have achieved both 7th Dan and the third scroll.

Best,

Chris

Hi Chris, sorry about hijacking your thread...

Hello, I am just passing along the word here... It looks like this will taking place in Sturbridge, MA. The venue is currently set at the Sturbridge Hotel and Conference Center or possibly a nearby facility/dojo. Hope this helps somewhat with travel and lodging arrangements.

There's a very nice video wrap-up to the workshop that's available here (https://youtu.be/Cyd5SZym28w).

They both discuss Kiyama Sensei a bit, there's more about him available here (https://vimeo.com/118964847).

Best,

Chris
