Hi all, my first real post! I just want to recommend some new stuff...
I was watching Rouronin Kenshin the OVA movie 3 the other day. This was when Kenshin had married his beloved and gotten a son. He has long since retired from using the sword. This movie had me sobbing. (Not weeping or just tearing, but really crying in sadness). I recommend anyone who's a Kenshin fan to watch this. It lacks any real action though unlike the previous two movies and series. But the story more then makes up for it.
The second one is my two new favourite games. Kengo 2 and Onimusha 2. Kengo 2 has you learning the ropes and climbing the ranks of a Ken (sword) Go (man, master). It's really great, and teaches you some cool moves with the bokken. Heh Heh, can't wait to try it out in class. Onimusha 2 puts you into Yagyu Jubei's shoes, arguably the best swordsman in Japan ever. (Sorry Musashi). Killing demons and the like.
Swords just kill me. :D

yagyu jubei has been used many2 times in various animes/manga. much more then musashi actually, because of the two... they believe him to be the better swordsman.
They didn't live in the same era so... no one knows.

Hmmm, be a good sword duel though, wouldn't you say?
You mention Musashi in Anime/Manga...what anime's do they have a musashi character? No not the little blue haired kid from the Squaresoft game either, lol

Actually, in Kengo 2 both Yagyu jubei and Miyamoto Musashi are there. Jubei however is one of the early Kengo's that you can fight and kill (although the hardest). Trying to meet musashi requires you to do various things first (like completing every aspect of the game)... since he's considered the top dog.
Aside from that, there were other games that refer to him. Mostly japanese games... but I can't remember it off hand. I remembered fighting him in Soul of Samurai for the Playstation though.
Jubei was in the anime.... where there is this girl who inherited an eye patch which contained Jubei's spirit/skill. Forgot the full name.
Musashi...hmm let me dig it up. I have a real bad memory. :P
And you're probably right, it would have been a good fight. Though if they were to go at it with bokkens/or maybe shinais... then i would bet on average, they would par at 50:50.
