Hi,
I started training when I first moved to Tokyo and thought it would be nice to have a place to discuss Aikido in my native language instead of my terrible Japanese. :D

The ink is still drying on my shodan certificate from Aikikai and looking to continue with Aikido when I move back to the States at the end of summer. I've trained at a dojo in Yokohama with a weekly class at Hombu in Shinjuku as well. I'm happy to answer any questions about training (or living) in Japan.

Hi Bruce,
Where will you be moving to in the states? You probably already know the "dojo search" button on here is a great resource for finding dojo.

Hi Susan,
I'll be moving to the north Dallas area (McKinney). I've done a few web searches and narrowed down a couple dojos to check out. I did try the dojo search, but a couple of the listings that returned seem to be inactive.

Thanks for the reply,
Bruce
