What's that weird and wonderful technique called where you drop right down and sweep uke's legs with your body?

If not the sudori that Matthew linked to, perhaps sutemi waza?

Our teacher was from Kobayashi dojos and called it "aikiotoshi". I'm sure it has a bunch of names!

Sutemi-waza = sacrifice throw

Some of those could do it, we have one called shizumi-othoshi, but it's not a "sweep" in any judo sense of the term, a gari movement, which is generally referred to as a sweep or reap, sort of brushes the persons foot/feet along the floor and out from under them. What I'm envisioning is uke being impeded by nage's body and falling over them with nage standing up in the middle and Wallah! Big toss.

That what you mean?
