.... Would a Writing Forum category be of interest to writers? .... a place to park, share, explore processes, projects, insights, challenges, post tools, resources, joys of writing, agony of editing etc. ....a space to discuss/explore various types of publications, books/articles/essays/ memoirs, practice logs, fiction/nonfiction.... any thoughts?

Yes. I think the path of Aikido as a martial art...with room for writing of Aikido as reflected in nature and as applied in life off the mat also etc......ie..writings perhaps inspired with the heart of Aikido....ultimately though writing can take a writer various paths as a writer and I think free expression and exploration of all writing should be honored...but that's just me...its not my forum...it would be a space for the Aikido community of writers as a whole...honored, defined, shaped, utilized accordingly... hope that helps.

peace and light,

Marium

It would interest me -- anything from the technical challenges of describing aikido (or any other martial art) in writing, to just sharing stuff we've written and would like to show to other writers. I know that I often really want to show my writing to people who can look at it with a writer's eye, and I don't often have that opportunity.
