As they say, long time listener first time caller.

Little about me, I started Martial arts at about 15 with Taekwondo and then Karate but they weren't ultimately for me, and in my early 20's I discovered (it really feels like a discovery) Aikido starting in an Iwama style dojo but after a number of years of training got married and moved away. I got fatter, and older but the desire was still there and after a good 10+ years and a couple of false starts I found a Yuishinkai Aikido dojo in Melbourne (Aus) that felt good and my journey began again. Recently I've moved to Southern Maryland and have found a great bunch of people to continue training with.

I enjoy training, try to train 2-3 times a week, and also love weapons, have studied a form of kobudo separately. So when I look back I've been around for a while but it seems disjointed and this is my second start and its was bit like starting a new. As Michael Williams Sensei (Yuishinkai Aikido) says "Always train with a beginners mind" believe me that's about all I have :)

Oh yeah Hi Y'all and G'day.
