I think this one is reachable - they'd probably know of others if it isn't: http://www.kcc.zaq.ne.jp/kobe-seibukan/

One of our students is being deployed to Iwakuni. Does anyone have first hand info about the dojos there or in Yamaguchi-ken? Arigato.

I train at the UK dojo attached to Seibukan Kobe. I can not recommend Nakao Sensei enough ... he did award me my shodan after all :D

The base gym in Iwakuni has a nice dojo and the last I heard Aikido classes were still available. They were being taught by the Aikikai group that has a dojo not far from the train station in downtown Iwakuni. From base it would only be a 30 minute bike ride.

I'm a little late on this thread, but Nakao sensei also teaches at a dojo in Kakogawa which is only a stones throw from Akashi. i'm not sure which day(s) he teaches there, but he also teaches at the Himeji Budokan on Tuesday mornings as well as at the Seibukan. He's worth the travel.
