I'm looking forward to making new aquaintences in the Aiki world. I'm currently a 2nd kyu brown belt and have studied for over 3 years now after watching my 7-year old daughter start her training from the sidelines. As a former dancer, I immediately was taken by the fluidity of movement and the sheer science involved with the techniques. I also hope to share the perspectives of my fellow female aikidoka and the challenges they have faced with training.
