Hi my name is Stefan Kammerhofer, I'm 19 years of age, and live near Vienna in the beautiful country of Austria, right in the middle of Europe. :)
I currently study Latin and Greek at the local university.

I am not doing Aikido yet, am greatly interested however, especially in the spiritual part of it - I am also heavily into meditation, lucid dreaming, astral projection, reiki etc. so I see Aikido as a valuable link between physical and spiritual development.

I'm looking forward to going through the archives and starting to learn.

Cheers!

Stefan Kammerhofer

First of all, welcome to the forum and to the wonderfull world of aikido. I hope you will enjoy training!

I too am very interested in meditation, reiki, the spiritual part of life... and for me aikido makes a great link between the physical and spiritual aspects of life.

enjoy training..

Welcome on the forum Stefan.

Nice to see you have many interests.

Still the best (and in my view only) way to esperience and understand (for as far as that may be possible) aikido is to train. Just practising in the dojo may also make you understand some of the posts here beter.

Now go and run to a dojo and train.

Hi Stefan,

Wilkommen! I've never been to Austria but I hope to do so some day. Thanks for your introduction, and I hope you'll be able to start up in aikido sometime soon.

Hi
Nice place init?
i'm also into meditating although its usualy to comune with a diety or the earth itself(i'm a pagan) loopy druid type
but i find aikido relaxing and many of the ideals from Neo-shintoism carry accross to some forms of Paganism too, but its peacful to meditate unless of course your in seiza in which case your legs feel like they're gonna drop off, (yes i'm sure i will get used to it over time but man it kills!)

pete (who coincidentaly does not worship satan, i'd actualy have to beleive in him).

Hello!

Well, if spirituality is what you are looking for, then you really really start training Aikido. speaking for myself, I think is one of the best things I've done in my life!

So give it a try!
