should have use those ice creams. them are deadly. now if you put the icecream on the donut, i don't know what i would do. my doctor warned me about those.

using kotegaeshi on someone with a gun after only 3 months of training? He was very very lucky. (coming from a non-aikido hater.)

Kotegaeshi works well for handgun disarming because the muzzle of the gun immediately points up and away from the victim/nage, and the ensuing pain compells uke to drop it.

There's no question Aikido is effective in disarming someone. But you also have to keep in mind that the man was not being attacked, so this wasn't combat (although it technically could be considered that.)
