Enso Aikido: Self Introduction

Hello fellow Aikidoka, onegaishimasu!

Enso Aikido dojo is a member of Aikido World Alliance (AWA). We are a small dojo located in a beautifl space in the heart of downtown Chicago. We have training three days a week.

Enso Aikido dojo cho is Jonathan Knipping, sandan Aikikai.
Knipping Sensei began Aikido training in 1999 at Aikido Association of America headquarters tenshinkan dojo under the late Fumio Toyoda Shihan. Since the passing of Toyoda Sensei, Jonathan has trained under former AAA Chief Instructor and AWA founder Andrew Sato, rokudan Aikikai.

I hope anyone reading this introduction will take a minute to visit our YouTube channel and check out our video series, AIKIDO VERSUS. The idea is to demonstrate application of Aikido principles and techniques in defense against various "street/bar" attacks such as tackle, grab-and-punch, hay maker, beer bottle, etc.
