There seem to be a number of different kanji for the word Peace. Can anybody tell me the meaning of the kanji pictured here? Is it generally used to mean Peace?

It's not the usual kanji for peace. Maybe a good way to think of it is "at ease." The Chinese reading is Kou, Japanese: ko, michi, yasu and yasushi. The first word that I think would spring to mind for most people would be kenkou 健康 meaning ‘health'.

Kind regards

Carl

Thank you. The most likely associations are probably the ones I'm looking for. I found these links which seems more to the point.
