Aikido Schools of New Jersey (http://www.aikidoschoolsnj.com) is hosting a "Building Bridges" Seminar with special guest instructor Hiroshi Ikeda, Shihan, of Boulder Aikikai (http://www.boulderaikikai.org) July 12-14,2002. Although we are practitioners of Aikido, we are individual human beings with our own priorities in our private lives ... and maybe that is the not the way we should be.

I have had the pleasure of seeing, training, and being instructed by Sensei Rick Stickles in a number of encounters over my past five years of being associated with Aikido. He is a genuine treasure, and a good hearted human being who deserves a more than life has granted him, but still ... he finds a smile and a handshake even for those who do not agree with him.

If you are truly a supporter of harmony in Aikido, as I have tried to be, my advice to you is to show up for one of these training sessions, injured or ready to train, and support this worthy cause.

Your presence speaks in volumes.

Let your presence be seen, and your voice be heard as we take Aikido into the 21st century.
