My name is Tom, I've been following the forum for about a year, practicing aikido for about 8 months and I started making posts a couple of months ago. I never did properly introduce myself though, so while I know a bit of some of the regulars here, most of you probably have no idea who I am. :(
I train at the University of Guelph, in Canada. To call my "dojo" a dojo is a bit of a stretch, we're more of a "club"; we practice in the wrestlers' room, both our senseis have other full time jobs, and on some occasions, particularly now in the summer, our class consists of 3 or 4 people. I must say I'm used to being quite relaxed during practice, in terms of etiquette, so maybe that's why I just walked in here and started talking like that.
Again, sorry for the lack of etiquette and thanks for taking the time to read this!
Hi Tom,
Thanks for your introduction!
If you bump into Kim Taylor who runs the Sei Do Kai (http://www.uoguelph.ca/~iaido/) iaido/jodo club at University of Guelph, please pass on my regards.
