Yes, the island of Crete is amongst the most beautiful places in Greece and Aikido has been making its first steps around for a decade now.
Sadly, although there are literally tens of martial arts schools and people around here have adopted a positive atitude towards mental and physical training, Aikido has not drawn the attention it deserves (imho).
Nevertheless, there are students that have been aboard since the begining of the journey and i believe they are the most profound example that will and persistence -no matter the difficulties- are always the little lanterns that will light up the path.
i am only at 1st Kyu but my life has changed for the better since that Aikido flyer reached me some years back.
