Hello

My name is Landon, I am actually returning to Aikido after a long break (about 13 years). I trained in Salem,il under the direction of Sensei Tony Cunningham. Right now I am just praticing at home to help lose weight, I had started at the SIU Aikido club last year however at the time I didn't feel I could keep up due to weight issues. Before I quit Aikido 13 years ago I held the rank of 3rd Kyu but it is my understanding that my sensei at the time did not submit any paperwork and pocketed the money and at the time I was offered a chance to pay all my testing fees again and have my ranks count but at the time I very much felt like I was taken for my money once and didn't see a need to pay for it again(and I have to admit at the time I was kinda wary of anyone involved with my previous sensei). So i guess technically I don't hold any rank, which doesn't bother me, because I still retain the knowledge of what I was taught. I am glad I have found a place to share Aikido ideas and viewpoints.
