so after a hard class a few days ago, where i watch a few people slip off their nage (me included) i had a moment

i would humbly like to share this for comments.

A lot people it would seem view being an uke somewhat like being a monkey hanging on to the branch of a tree in a high wind. they just grip tightly and try to stay on. When in fact the uke is the tree bending with the force of the wind (nage) and always trying to spring back.the monkey then is the mind of the uke, and both uke and nage work together to shake it out of the tree
